Arrival
Upon entering the Pho House, I was greeted by the staff twice. The waitress and the cashier were quick to acknowledge our presence. The waitress immediately ushered my party to the table. The table was clean and well organized. The waitress assigned to our table was courteous and had a smile on her face throughout our time there. She was knowledgeable about the cuisine and was able to answer all our questions. She made various recommendations as we were indecisive about what dishes to order. Enticing aromas coming from the kitchen filled the restaurant. The waitress quickly placed our drinks on the table as we placed our order. Throughout our visit, the staff, including management, made their presence known to us. The waitress asked about the food throughout the meal, she refilled our drinks and brought us extra condiments. The service was truly spectacular!
Ambiance
The ambiance of the restaurant was calm, inviting, clean, and orderly. The tables were appropriately spaced and well organized. Being in the mid of a pandemic, I felt safe. I ate my meal without worries. All staff was wearing their masks and were covered adequately. Hand sanitizer was available for customer use, and the team was taking all the precautionary measures they possibly could to keep their customers safe.
Menu
The menu was colorful, easy to read, and the prices were visible. The dishes were clearly labeled, and there was a brief description of the food and a list of different combinations and or choices available for the main dishes. I liked the fact that the menu offered choice and was not confusing or overwhelming.
Price
The prices were very reasonable as compared to other restaurants. Appetizers, beverages, and extras were reasonably priced.
Food
Finally, the food was wonderfully aromatic, flavorful, and served hot. The drinks were cool, but not overwhelmingly cold and not overflowing with ice. We ordered the Chargrilled Beef with rice and the Beef Brisket Pho. The size of the meal was either regular or large. Unless you are going in with a hearty appetite, order the regular-sized meal as the large portion is almost a family size. The Chargrilled Beef was tender with a pleasantly spiced aroma. The rice was separate and non-sticky. Overall the dish was appealing to the eye and delightful on the pallet. The Brisket Pho was in a large bowl with an excellent and even combination of stock, meat, and noodles. There was a spark of carrots and green onion. The pho was non-greasy, the noodles were al dente, the stock was hearty and flavored well, and the meat was tender and thinly cut. The spices were used moderately and flavored the dishes well. The pho was just right!
