Recipe Highlight Beef Shish Kebabs

Our beef shish kebabs are a traditional dish in Mediterranean cuisine. These kebabs are delicious and very easy to prepare. To marinade these kebabs, I used paprika, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. I marinaded the kebabs overnight.

Shish Kebabs

The following day I added rosemary and let them sit with a coat of oil for 30 minutes. The oil adds a sheen to the kebabs' exterior and keeps them from drying out while cooking. I then used vibrant vegetables red, yellow, orange, green peppers, mushrooms, and purple onion. The colorful vegetables made the kebabs appealing to the eye. I intensified the flavors by grilling the kebabs and then finished them in the oven. The grilling gave the kebabs appeal and boosted the flavor. The slowing cooking in the oven allowed the meat to become soft and tender.
