How To Make Organic Garlic Paste

btamez1

I love the cuisine of my country. It's what I grew up eating. It's what brings back fond memories of my parents in the kitchen. The aromas take me back to a time playing on the veranda and the smells coming from the kitchen, causing me to run inside and ask, "what's for dinner?" Indian cuisine is truly unique and tasty. I've faced it; the neighborhood knows when I am cooking curry at my house. The aromas are intense! The curry's aroma and flavors come from three main ingredients: ginger paste, garlic paste, and onion paste. On my YouTube channel, The Topper Chef, you will find videos on making ginger and onion paste. For this recipe, I am going to focus on creating a simple organic garlic paste.

Important Information:

Course: Cooking Paste

Cuisine: Indian

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Assemble Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Makes: 2 cups

Prepping:

· Prep your garlic by washing them and cleaning them properly.

· Roughly chop the garlic.

Ingredients: Garlic is incorporated into all types of cuisine. Fresh, ground, or powder form garlic is essential. It has nutritional properties, and overall it gives food a wonderful flavor and lovely aroma. For this recipe, you will need:

4 large pods of garlic

½ cup of olive oil

½ cup of water

Instructions:

1. First, wash and peel your garlic.

2. Then, give the garlic cloves a rough chop.

3. Place the pieces of garlic in the blender with a ½ cup of olive oil.

4. Next, add ½ cup of water to make the blender run smoothly.

5. Finally, blend the mixture for 3 minutes or until smooth. You are looking for a thick paste consistency.

Topper Tips:

1. You want to rough chop the garlic so that the blender will create a smooth paste. You don't want any lumps of garlic in the paste.

2. Add olive oil to the paste so that it will last longer.

3. Make your paste to avoid additives.

4. I make enough to last for a couple of meal preparations.

5. Store it in the fridge for later use.
