I love seafood! Costco is my go-to place to buy most of the seafood I use in my recipes. I find that the quality of the product is better than any other market places. Don't compromise the quality of your recipes; look for quality ingredients. I used red tilapia for this recipe, but you can substitute the red tilapia with any fish of your choice. The key to this dish is the marinade. It is essential to mask the fishy scent and pack the fish full of intense flavors. If you love seafood, a quick and easy recipe, and intense flavor, you will love this recipe.

· Score the fish in a cross-cut.
· Prepare your marinade.
· Marinade your fish for 30 minutes or more.
Ingredients: I did not use many ingredients for this recipe. I kept it very simple, but these ingredients packed the fish with intense flavor. For this recipe, you will need:
2 tilapia
4 tbsp of olive oil
½ tsp chili powder
½ tsp turmeric
½ tsp salt
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
1. First, I poured the oil into the pan and set the flame on high heat.
2. Once I put the fish in the pan, I lowered the flame to medium heat.
3. Then, I allowed the fish to cook for 5 minutes on each side.
4. Flip the tilapia when it has reached a dark golden color on both sides.
5. Plate and garnish with cilantro.
Topper Tips:
1. I used only ¼ cup of olive oil because I wanted to avoid any greasiness in the dish.
2. I wanted the fish to have a fried and crispy exterior. I did not want to deep fry it, keeping it on the healthier side.
3. I used apple cider vinegar in the marinade to give it some acidity and break of the fish's soft tendons. The vinegar also helps to eliminate some of the fishy scent and strong fishy taste.
4. Tilapia has plenty of small and thin bones. Be cautious when eating.
