Prepping:

· Prep, your vegetables, wash them thoroughly and cut the green beans into 1-inch pieces.

· Poach one breast of chicken until cooked thoroughly or the temperature has reached 180 degrees.

· Shred the chicken with two forks; if hot, gently separate into thin thread-like strands.


Ingredients: You will see a lot of traditional ingredients in this recipe and some unanticipated components. Why not keep it lively and exciting and try something new, so don’t be afraid of those unanticipated ingredients. Be willing to experiment with new flavors and spices.

Indian Spices

3 tbsp olive oil

8 grams or three pods of garlic

10 grams or one small stem of ginger

½ onion

14 grams or one jalapeno

1 tsp cumin seed

1 breast of chicken (poached)

1 tsp turmeric

¼ lbs of green bean

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp salt


Ingredients

Instructions:

1. With the flame on high, add the onion, garlic, ginger, and jalapeno to the pan. Flash fry the ingredients for 1 minute. Allow them a quick cook, so they release their aroma and flavors. Do not allow them to wilt or brown.

2. Add the cumin seeds to the mixture and stir. Wait about 30 seconds before adding the salt, chicken, followed by the turmeric. Stir in the ingredients quickly.

3. Add the green beans to the mixture. Continue to stir the ingredients quickly.

4. Lastly, add the garam masala for an intensified aroma and flavor, stir, and cover the dish for 1 minute for the green beans to receive a slight cook.


Topper Tips:

1. Make sure your wok or pan is hot. You want to flash fry the ingredients quickly to vary the textures in the dish.

2. Cut your vegetables accordingly. The presentation of the dish or visual appeal is just as important as the taste.
