How To Make A Creamy Avocado Dip

btamez1

This recipe is simple, easy, and so tasty! It is an offshoot from our green salsa recipe. What I love about this recipe is that it goes with all types of Mexican food. It is used as a cooling agent for a spicy dish, and kids love it.

Creamy Avocado Dip

Important Information:

Course: Sauce

Cuisine: Tejano (Tex-Mex)

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 0 minutes (if you already have a green salsa)

Total Time: 15 minutes

Servings: 6 – 1 oz

Prepping:

· Pre-measure your ingredients.

· Wash and peel your avocado.

Ingredients: If you do not have a green salsa preparation in your fridge, please refer to our blog. You can also find this recipe on our YouTube channel. This recipe consists of very few ingredients, but don’t let that fool you. It packs a punch full of flavor. For this recipe, you will need:

· ½ cup green salsa

· ¼ cup sour cream

· ½ an avocado

· ¼ cup creamy ranch dressing

· ½ tsp salt

· ½ tsp pepper

· 2 tbsp lime juice

Instructions:

1. Pour all your green ingredients into your blender and add lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.

2. Then, pour all your creamy ingredients into the blender and pulse it until you have reached the desired thickness.

Topper Tips:

1. Blend the green ingredients with the lemon juice first. It will allow the avocado to absorb the lemon juice. The lemon juice will not allow the avocado to darken.

2. I like my sauce to be on the thick side, as I use it as a dip. It also works if you make it a little runnier. Either way, it is delicious.

3. Pulse the ingredients if you want this recipe on the thicker side.
